Gelbo is a planet in the Essylt Universe. It is home to two species. the Gelboans who are have lesser number and the Humangids, who has more number than the Gelboans. Both species are sapient, however, the Humangids possess greater technology than the Gelboans.

Gelbo is a habitable planet. The planet is hot with average temperature reaching 275° K. It is covered with vast expanses of desert and the surface water in the planet is only 20% of the entire surface area of the planet. Despite its harsh climatic conditions the planet is home to roughly 8 billion inhabitants, 7.5 Billion Humangids and 500 million Gelboans.
